Privacy and data
The calculators on this site run in your browser and the numbers you type into them are never sent to a server.
Calculators run in the browser
The calculators on this site run in the browser, which means the numbers you enter are processed on your own device and are never sent to a server. Position size, margin and pip-value arithmetic happens locally, so a figure you type does not leave your machine through us.
This is a deliberate design choice for a site about trading, where the numbers a reader enters can reveal account size and risk appetite. Because the calculation is local, there is nothing on our side to store, lose or hand on.
What Lahore Broker Stores and What It Never Keeps
Lahore Broker stores only what you type into a form or a calculator, and only for as long as that browser tab stays open. Nothing you enter is written to a server-side profile, an account record, or a mailing list. The site does not ask for a name, a CNIC, a phone number, or a bank account, and it does not create a login. If you close the tab, the working numbers are gone. The only thing that can persist is a small local storage flag that remembers a display preference, and that flag stays on your own device under your own browser settings.
Lahore Broker does not store payment details, trading account credentials, or broker login information at any point. It never sees your FxPro password, your MT4 or MT5 investor access, or your bank transfer reference. Those belong to the broker and to your bank, not to this site. The site also does not keep a copy of the rupee amounts you test in the margin or pip-value calculators. The numbers are used to produce an on-screen result and are then discarded when the page is refreshed or closed. There is no archive of past calculations tied to you or to your device.
Lahore Broker keeps no server log that ties a visit to a person. Standard web-server logs may record an IP address and a timestamp for security and uptime purposes, but those logs are not joined to any calculator input or form field. The site does not build a profile of your trading interests, your account size, or your leverage choices. Because the calculators run in the browser, the site's own servers never receive the numbers you type. That design choice is deliberate: it keeps the useful part of the toolkit on your side of the connection and leaves nothing sensitive to store.
Brokers set their own cookies
When you follow a link from this site to a broker, that broker sets its own cookies under its own policy, and those cookies are outside our control. A referral link may be tracked by the broker so that a referral is attributed, and the broker's privacy policy, not this page, governs what happens after you arrive.
Read the broker's privacy and cookie documents before opening an account, particularly where the entity serving Pakistan is offshore. Nothing in this site's own handling of data changes the fact that your relationship with a broker is with that broker, under its terms and its regulator, not with this desk.
Your Rights Over Your Data and the Exact Steps to Use Them
You can ask what Lahore Broker holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and object to the measurement cookie, and each request is handled by email. Because the site stores almost nothing, the usual answer will be that no personal record exists, and that answer is itself the response. To make a request, write to the contact address published on the site and state what you want. There is no form to fill in and no account to log into. A request about a broker account must go to FxPro, because Lahore Broker never holds that data.
A deletion request covers the local storage flag on your own device and any correspondence you have sent. You can delete the local storage flag yourself by clearing site data in your browser, and you can delete the cookies through the same settings. An objection to the measurement cookie is best made by blocking it in your browser, which stops the count before it is sent. Lahore Broker will confirm in writing what was removed. If your request concerns the affiliate network or FxPro, the site will point you to that party's own rights procedure, since it cannot delete records it does not hold.
A correction request applies to any email you have sent and to any detail the site may have repeated in a reply. Because there is no user profile, there is no profile field to correct. A request about a calculator result is not a data request, since the numbers were never stored. Lahore Broker aims to answer a rights request within a reasonable period and will tell you if more time is needed. If you are not satisfied, you can raise the matter with the relevant supervisory authority; for a broker entity that is the FCA or CySEC, and for a local firm it would be the SECP, though this site is not an SECP-licensed broker.
Affiliate Tracking, Stated Without a Sales Pitch
Lahore Broker earns money when a reader follows a link to FxPro and later opens a funded account, and that is the whole of the commercial relationship. The link carries a referral identifier so the broker and its affiliate network can attribute the sign-up. This site does not receive your account number, your balance, your trade history, or your deposit amount from that arrangement. The payment is a referral fee from the broker, not a charge to you, and it does not change the price you pay for a spread, a commission, or a swap. Those costs are set by FxPro and depend on the account type and the entity serving Pakistan.
The affiliate identifier is attached only when you click a broker link, and it is not present while you read a guide or use a calculator. Lahore Broker does not place affiliate cookies on pages that do not contain a broker link. The site does not run a hidden redirect, and it does not rewrite links you paste into the address bar. If you reach FxPro by typing the address yourself, no referral is recorded. The editorial content is written to be useful whether or not you ever click a broker link, and the presence of a link is not a recommendation to trade.
A referral fee creates an incentive, and the honest way to handle it is to say so plainly. Lahore Broker does not let the affiliate relationship decide which risks are mentioned or which costs are described. The site cannot quote a spread, a commission, a swap, or a minimum deposit as a number because it was not given those figures, so it describes what each cost consists of and what it depends on. Trading gold on leverage is high-risk and can lose more than the margin committed. A referral fee does not change that risk, and no affiliate arrangement makes a losing position recover.
The Cookie Types This Site Sets and What Each One Does
Lahore Broker uses three kinds of cookies, and each has a single job. A necessary cookie keeps the page working and remembers a basic display choice, such as whether a calculator panel is open. A measurement cookie counts page views so the site knows which guides are read. An affiliate cookie records that a broker link was followed so a referral can be credited. No cookie on this site holds your name, your CNIC, your bank details, or the numbers you type into a calculator. The necessary cookie is the only one that is required for the page to behave correctly.
The measurement cookie is set by the analytics tool described on this page and is used only in aggregate. It does not carry calculator inputs, and it is not combined with the affiliate cookie to build a picture of an individual reader. The affiliate cookie is set when you click a link to FxPro and is read by the affiliate network, not by Lahore Broker's own servers. Its lifetime depends on the affiliate programme's own rules, which are outside this site's control. You can block or delete any of these cookies in your browser settings, and the calculators will keep working because they do not depend on cookies.
The necessary cookie carries no advertising identifier and is not shared with a third party. The measurement cookie is first-party and reports counts, not identities. The affiliate cookie is the only one that leaves this site's domain, and it does so only after you choose to follow a broker link. Lahore Broker does not set a cookie for retargeting, for cross-site profiling, or for selling audience data. If you clear your browser's cookie store, all three are removed, and the next visit starts fresh. None of them is required to read the guides or to use the calculators.
The Third Parties That Receive Anything From This Site
Only three kinds of third party can receive anything from a visit to Lahore Broker: the analytics provider, the affiliate network, and FxPro itself once you follow a link. The analytics provider receives aggregate page-view counts and a truncated technical signal such as browser type. The affiliate network receives the referral identifier when a broker link is clicked. FxPro receives whatever its own sign-up form asks for after you arrive on its domain. Lahore Broker does not pass your calculator inputs to any of them, because those inputs never leave your browser. No data broker, advertising exchange, or list seller is involved.
The analytics provider is bound by its own contract and processes counts rather than identities. The affiliate network sees the click and the identifier, not your name or your bank details. FxPro is the entity that serves Pakistan, and its own privacy notice governs what it collects once you are on its site. That entity is licensed by the FCA in the UK and by CySEC, not by the SECP of Pakistan, so a Pakistani resident deals with an offshore entity and should read that entity's notice before submitting documents. Lahore Broker has no control over what a broker collects after the link is followed.
Lahore Broker does not embed social media pixels, advertising tags, or chat widgets that quietly collect data. The site does not use a third-party comment system, and it does not accept uploads. The only outbound requests are the page assets needed to render the guide, the analytics count, and the broker link you choose to click. If a third party changes its own terms, that change is governed by the third party's notice, not by this page. The list above is the complete set, and a new third party would be announced under the change procedure described on this page.
Traffic counts and local storage
We keep only aggregate traffic counts, which tell us how many visits a page receives and nothing about who made them. We do not build reader profiles, we do not sell data, and we do not ask you to register to read a page.
Local storage on your own device holds your preferences, such as settings you have chosen on a tool, so the page behaves the way you left it. That storage sits in your browser and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings without affecting anything else on the site.
How Long Anything Is Kept and What Removes It
Calculator inputs are kept for the life of the open tab and are removed when the tab is closed or the page is refreshed. The local storage display flag stays until you clear site data or the browser evicts it. The necessary cookie lasts for the session or a short fixed period set by the site. The measurement cookie lasts for the period set by the analytics provider. The affiliate cookie lasts for the period set by the affiliate programme, which Lahore Broker does not control. Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to answer it and to keep a record of the request.
The action that deletes most of this data is yours: closing the tab clears the calculator inputs, and clearing site data in the browser removes the local storage flag and the cookies. Lahore Broker does not run a scheduled purge of calculator inputs because it never receives them. Server logs, where they exist for security, are rotated on the hosting provider's schedule and are not joined to any reader identity. An email you send is deleted when the request is closed, unless keeping it is necessary to show that the request was handled. No backup of calculator inputs exists to be restored.
A broker or affiliate record has its own retention period set by that party, and Lahore Broker cannot shorten it. If you want an affiliate record removed, the request goes to the affiliate network or to FxPro under their own notices. The site's own retention is deliberately short because the useful work happens in your browser. Nothing on this page creates a long-term archive of your trading research, your rupee amounts, or your leverage tests. If a future feature were to store something for longer, that change would be announced under the change procedure and the retention period would be stated with it.
